Persistent Rash

by jujuju, Oct 17, 2007 01:53PM
Somtime in late April '07, I had brief unprotected oral sexual contact with a csw (less than two minutes).  I has protected sex with her and then I immediately went to the bathroom and cleaned my penis.  Starting in June until today's date, I have had a persistent dry rash on the head of my penis, which has made the skin very sensitive.  Intercourse or friction can be very uncomfortable depending on the level of irritation.

I first self treated otc hydrocortizone, with no affect.

I then went to a dermatologist who prescribed 2% ketoconazole.  I took it twice daily for ten days, with no affect.  I also took an oral antifungal.

I then went to a general practitioner, who referred me to a urologist.  The urologist did a urine culture.  While I was waiting for results he prescribed doxycycline (twice daily) as a precaution.  I completed the treatment eventhough the urine culture came back negative.

I have had no sores, no discharge, only the rash?  Does anyone have any idea what this could be?  If it is just irritation or dermititus, does anyone know how to make this fricking rash go away!?

Thanks
