How many days should it take from the stopping of Prometrium to get AF?

i am not sure. i am on Prometrium right now for other purpose. dr. said this medicine help keeping the eggs stay and implant into the uterus wall due to my uterus lining is so thin.

I got it after one day but it can take 4 to 5... baby blue also you can use bably asprin to thicken you uterus lining... mine was thinned from clomid but with injectables it was fine

Thanks, it has been one week for me. But, I want my AF because I am taking it after a miscarriage, and this was a test to see if my uterus is damaged or not from a d & c.

i took prometrium to bring down my AF i took it for 10 days and on day 7 i started spotting i got my AF on day 10 but everyone is different my doc. told me to wait a week after my last pill but i got it the same day i took my last dose...so good luck.

Are prometrium and progesterone the same thing...just a generic form of one another?

Prometrium & Provera are progesterone, just a different type (molecule).

I just think it's so weird that my dr. gave me prometrium to make my period start, and then once I got pregnant he put me back on it to stop spotting.
