sitting down/lying down

by Janco, Oct 18, 2007 01:30PM

I have serious pain when sitting or lying down - been to every doctor I can think of.  When I sit down - have to go urinate.  Had a injection of lidocane - upset my stomach terribly.   I have pelvic lestions  and a small nondisplaced fracture/lytic process of distal left sacrum.  My doctor has given me precriptions  pain medications (latest methadone and some inflammatory medication) inflammatory made me sick.  Haven't filled methadone yet as no other medication works.  I have Multiple Myeloma and my doctor says these pelvic lestions and other problems are not from Multiple Myeloma.  I have to walk most of the time to get relief.  Take 75 mg of Lyrica and Lunesta 2 mg to help me sleep and relax.  No pain when I wake up during the night and bathroom calls are less frequent.  Think my next step should be a chiropractor or neurologist -  I start back on a new form of Multiple Myeloma next week Revlimid - I have been in remission since December last year.  Need to convince family doctor - Have been to a urologist - keep saying interstitial cystitis but don't believe that.  Oh when I sit on a toilet seat - there is no pain.

I would like some advice on who I should see next.   Pain medication does not help nor does antidepressants.

Thanks,

Jan
