Loss my mucous plug

I lose my mucous plug @ 27wk and 2days. I contact my doctor in terms she wanted to see me right away because I was in a lot of pain. Pain that would not go away. They kept me for a few hours, check me and sent me home. I was told my cervix is soft but I am not dilated. I have been home from work with my feet up and not doing alot of walking. I turn 28 wk on thursday and I have an appt. on Tues. I am in alot of pain, my lower back on the left side is hurting and I have alot of pain in my pelvis.
Should I waiting for my appt on tues or do I call my dr now? Tks

I would call the doctor. you do not want to wait for tues. if you are in pain. if you can not contact your dr. you need to go to the ER.

Yep, call your Dr. ASAP. Are you having contractions too, or just pain? Could be you might be dialating, or could be stretching and nothing, but since yuo have lost your plug, I would call the Dr.

I was wondering do I have to loose mucuos plug before I dialate.
