leg groin pain

I have this pain starting at the groin on left leg and radiating down leg. I have had an MRI and it only showed a little arthritis. Went to doctor and said maybe bursitis and gave me a shot in bursa joint. Not working. Then I have taken Mobic and neurotin and nothing is working. I limp when I walk. I have to help lift my leg to get pants off or get into the car. My DR has suggested a nerve conduction study for may be a pinched nerve. Please help me

Does the pain radiate down the front or back of the leg?
Sounds like sciatica, however,. I assume the MRI was of the lumbar/sacral area. Did the report note any problems with discs? If not it is probably not nerve related or sciatica.
Can I ask your age?
Have you tried PT , stretching, etc? May help.
I was on mobic-did nothing for me either. Indocin worked much better for me.
