pineal cyst

by boxxer, Oct 22, 2007 08:22PM
I fell head height approx 13 feet,  waist high at top of trailer {dump trailer} fell to the ground landing on my feet then falling backwards to buttocks and reinjuring right elbow from "previous fall " at ground level with head snapping to the right .As a result of falling off my trailer can a pineal cyst occur on the brain stem ? I am a tractor trailer driver. CT scan showed pineal cyst but an MRI did not can you explain all to me please?

Hi.

It would be unlikely that the pineal cyst was caused by your accident. It was probably just an incidental finding on CT scan.

If there are no symptoms, you can opt to just observe it for the time being.

Hope this helps.
