Thanks so much for the support... it is on thursday... lower lumbar... then on the 20th... the cervical & brain.... i hope you are right... that i won't feel a thing... i just hope i stay out while i am in the darn machine... or they better have the paddles ready to revive me...

i just called them & asked about fasting before the mri  since i didn't remember them taling about that when we scheduled it...just no driving... which is not a problem since i have not been driving & they said just eat light ... no fasting... which i find curious... what are they giving me that i can still have food & water prior... there i go... thinking too much...
anyway, thanks for the prayers and best wishes... i really appreciate you guys.

God bless,
Frann

You do not need to fast before an MRI unless for some reason instructed to do so.  Are they giving you anything for sedation?  Are you claustrophobic?  or just don't like the idea of laying there?  Guess what, my MRI s are on Thursday also, so I will be thinking of you and what you are going through and maybe you could think of me too.  I am going to take some Ativan before the procedure.  It totally relaxes you and it is over before you know it.  My mom laughed when I told her.  It is my BDay on Thursday and she said "boy, you really know how to party Ter, take some downers & go to sleep"  Good luck with everything, Terrie

Hi MRI buddy... happy birthday!!

yes, I am claustrophobic and i am being sedated... i had to search far and wide for a facility that would sedate and uses the 3tesla machine... found one... yeah... but yes, i will be receiving iv sedation... that is why i don't understand why i am allowed to have something by mouth... i figured i would be on some sort of fast for at least a few hours prior... i was just wondering... maybe someone who has been there/ done that will fill me in.

thanks for the best wishes...
i will certainly keep you in my prayers... not only that all goes well with your mri but also you have a very blessed birthday and year ahead..

God bless,
Frann
