boil to vulva irritation

by mtgirl1, Oct 23, 2007 08:05PM
hi,
in august i had a boil lanced; it came back 10 days later with staph in it. have taken antibiotics. a couple of weeks ago my vagina and vulva area became red, irritated and a little swollen. saw my gyno he said he thought it could be some "infection" coming out of the hair follicles from the boil, and suggested miocin? a yeast infection was ruled out.
does this sound like a logical diagnosis? i havent seen this gyno very long.
this is really worrying me now, did the staph not clear up or could it be coming from something else?? Please help.
