Fluid flow from the removed stiches in brain who undergone excess of CSF drain surgery

by mrrparan, Oct 24, 2007 05:53AM

My dad had "left cerebellopontine angle atipical meningioma who 2" and got operated in 2005. Also given Radiotherapy for one month. Till 2007, he is normal, but later he cant walk, speak and always in sleepy mode. When we went to a checkup, now we came to know that he had "Nechrosis" and "Hemiperasis" with grade 3. They also drain the CSF from brain by putting clamp in normal flow path and did stitches on head. But after a week, when tried to remove the stitches, a liquid form of solution is coming from the point of removed stitches, which is approx more than 100ml. We dont know whether it is CSF or any other else.
Plz, I request you to give me the solution as what will happen, if we got like this and what is the cause of this problem...

Thanks
