Progressive Symptoms.. Don't Know What's Wrong!

by ShivihS, Oct 24, 2007 07:41AM
Beginning in late June, I have had progressive symptoms. It started with muscle shakiness, then weakness. Then i noticed muscle twitching, my toes started to move around on their own. Twitches occur any where however. I find myself sore after barely any physical activity. My vision has started to be affected and it is fuzzy in both my eyes. It looks like static and is worse in dim light. Yesterday my hearing started to be affected and now I get a weird feeling in my ear drums when I talk loudly, whistle, or hear something high pitched. It feels like they themselves are twitching for a short amount of time. My feet as I type feel weird and tingly. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I'm afraid to see what is going to be affected next. I also shake slightly in what sometimes feels like rhythmic patterns either left or right or in a circular motion in my neck, back, and just recently my legs and gluts. All symptoms have gotten worse and I really hope the damage that has been done isn't permanent. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

I had similar symptoms and saw a neuroseurgeon. It took quite a while, but they found a pseudotumor. It is where your body has too much spinal fluid pushing on the brain and acts like a tumor. You need to see a NS though and possibly get and MRI. The pseudotumor can only be found by Spinal tap though... but see a NS and start there. God bless!
