Possible STD

So the other day my pubic region broke out in what looked like pimples. There were probably 7-10. I popped them and what came out looked like what come from a pimple. They looked a little different, kind of circular and semi-hard. I did some research online and I've been getting worried because the closest thing sounds like herpes. These are not blisters though like I've seen through my research. I don't have anything on my actual penis either just the area basically covered by pubic hair. It doesn't itch. They defenitely don't look like blisters, they're defenitely more pimple like. It has been 3 1/2 months since my last sexual encounter and I never had any sort of symptoms before or after that. I know I should go see a doctor but I only have emergency medical insurance right now and a visit would be incredibly expensive. Does this still sound like herpes or something else? Does it even sound like an STD?
