lump after breat enlargement

by Amelie23, Oct 24, 2007 03:27PM
Hi

About a month and a half ago I had a breast uplift and enlargement.  I had complications with my right breast after surgery that became infected however thankfully has now healed.  My concerns lies with a small round hard lump that i have suddenly noticed on the underside of my breast just below the end of my scar.  Would you be able to indicate what this could be as Im a little worried - it doesnt hurt and feels like a dried pea under my skin.

Many thanks for your expertise.

This lump could be residual scar beneath the skin or a reaction to a deep dissolving suture.  You surgeon could readily determine the nature of this lump.
