Bumps

I was wondering if all bumps on the penis are from sexually transmitted diseases? I have a small red bump over layed by skin on the lower side of my penis but I have had the same sex partner for many years. I do not sleep around and therfore do not have much reason to believe I have an STD. Is this bump something I should be extremely worried about or is it possible it could be a bite of some sort. The pain is minimal only if i mess with it and the bump size went down very fast and did not last long. Could this bump just be of natural cause and not be harmful or contagious?
