by sanger2001, Oct 25, 2007 03:17AM
I had unprotected sex with a women the other night and a about a week later i noticed tingling and sensitive on my penis, i ignored it, just today i noticed right on the underside but up torward the cervix but not on the cervix i noticed a bump under the skin and a little bit of swelling. there is no color change, no redness, no abdominal pain or anything like that just a bump or a cyst like thing and it is very tinglish. could this be a sign of herpes or possiblly another type of an std?

You have a cervix and a penis? hmmmmm

If you have something new you should have it checked out by your doctor.

Grace,
Is it possible for a herpes lession to look like a cut, i've read in many sites that cuts near or around the vagina can be a sign of a herpes outbreak...is this true?

Yes herpes can appear as a cut in the skin - but then cuts in the skin are also caused by very, very many different things.  If you know you have genital herpes but but aren't sure what is an ob and what isn't - don't hesitate to follow up with your doctor to get pcr swabs of genital symptoms. Also get tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally which are the most common causes of breaks in the skin for us gals.  If you are wondering if your symptoms could be herpes - go see your doctor, get the full work up and find out.

I have one spot on my pubic area high near my bikini line that looks like a pimple... i thought maybe an ingrown hair but not sure now... i have never noticed anything that rezembles herpes before but now i am freaking out ... could this be herpes? do breakouts usually have more then one blister? and if it is a breakout would it be so high on my pubic area?

First of all I wasn't aware that a Cervix could be seen so easily without a Speculum, nor was I aware a Penis and Cervix resided in the same body so I'm actually totally confused here!! .....
Either way unprotected sex always poses the risk of an STD if you don't know the persons status,so pop down to your Clinic and have some tests thats the only sure way to dispel your anxiety.
