Advance or standstill

Have there been any significant results from the worldwide research into this disease in the last 7 years?

Where are the signs of progress for those suffering from this complex condition?

Should there be any indication of a positive response to the first questions, the final part is; why aren't these advances being communicated to the General Practitioners?
