These sources point out that every patient is different, some patients are not even good candidates for chemotherapy at all. It depends on the kind of cancer, where it is (ones in limbs may do better with chemo), how advanced the liposarcoma is. You have to find this out from your doctor, and if you're not satisfied, consider a second opinion.
