I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH GENITAL HERPES, IF I HAVE ONLY HAD A GENITAL BREAKOUT AND NEVER A BREAKOUT ON MY LIPS/MOUTH, IS IT STILL OK TO KISS SOMEONE AND NOT SPREAD IT???

I encourage you to watch the patient counseling video and read the herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com. Both will help you better understand your herpes.

do you have hsv1 or hsv2?

Genital herpes is not transmitted thru kissing - only oral herpes is.
