I have a 2 year old son Who's behaviorAutistic behavior Behavior - unusual or strange Bulimia Hyperactivity Suicide and suicidal behavior Temper tantrums is worse than I feel it should be to say the least. He is very stubborn but smart, he is already toilet trained. I have tried time out (consistantly) and now unfortuneatly now spankings as I am at my whits ends and he won't stop for anything. I know how important consistant disipline is, and I feel that we are firm and consistant. I work full time and his daycare is with my mother 3 days a week and my mother-inlaw 2 days per week. Am I causing the terrible twos to be worse than it should be with this alternating schedule?
Do you all MIL, M, and yourself have the same rules?
Even if you do the diciplines are going to be a little different and that may cause him some confusionConfusion Delirium and frustration.
Could you talk with your mothers and share your concern to see if you cant all get on the
"same page" ? Each mom keeping the same routineRoutine sputum culture with him and having a schedule?
Also 2 year olds can get very bored, you can all try and keep him busy with 2 year old crafts, walks, reading time, building blocks. That may help him "SIMMER" down a bit !!!
