nasal odors

i wrote the other day and have not heard from anyone....my husband has a smell that somes out of his mouth and nose that is like something is rotting.....please give me some advice

The most likely cause would be sub-optimum dental hygiene, with particles of food lodged between the teeth.  The next would be some type of chronic dental infection of gums or teeth.  The third would be an inflammatory condition of the nose, called atrophic rhinitis.  He should first see his dentist and then an ENT specialist.

Maybe he has an infection in his sinuses or throat. Does he have any pain or pressure under his eyes or have headaches? Either way, it would be a good idea to go to the doctors where he or she could take a good look at him and order the appropriate tests such as xrays or CT scan of the sinus if necessary. I hope that everything works out...Sunny
