prostititus?

by trapshooter, Oct 26, 2007 05:11PM
I have been diagnosed with Prostititus.  about 3 yrs ago, the symptoms were real frequent urinations, and lack of pressure.  I don't remember any pain.  I was perscribed Bactrim and Flomax.  Immediately I got better.  I was on the Bactrim for several months.  Then I started having pain in my uretha while going.  After switching docters and trying 6 or so different antibiotics, I decided on my own that antibiotics didn't help at all, maybe worsened the pain.  I also decided I must have a yeast infection.  So, I convinced my GP to perscribe a yeast infection medicine.  The symptoms got much better, fast.  Now the pain in the uretha has returned and is very bad.  It causes lack of sensitivity sexually.  I also have some pain in the testicles.  The pain is so bad in the uretha, close to the end on my penis.  I just wonder if this is actually prostititus?  I am 44 years old and have a new love.  So my main concern is the sexual side effects.  I have really lost a lot of the pleasurable feelings, ejaculation is still like a relief, but not near the pleasure it use to be.  It may take 30 - 45 minutes of trying as hard as I can to ejaculate, when it use to take a very short time.

I would really appreciate any help or advice.

Pain at the tip is at the meatus and not related to the prostate.  Discomfort at the meatus (tip) could lead to delayed orgasm & ejaculation.  Talk to your doc.  Doesn't sound like prostatitis.
