healing wound on face

I just had a basal cell carcinoma removed on the side of my nose and the wound about the size of a large cigarette burn is rather unsightly --for the first 6 days I put anti-biotic ointment on and covered with a band-aid but now I'm not sure what to do--I know time is the best healer--but in the meantime should I be putting vaseline, or grape seed extract or aloe vera on the wound to make it heel faster?

Do you have any other associated symptoms of itching, rash , etc.
You should try to avoid sweat collection in the areas, keep the areas clean, maintain good personal hygiene, . Apply calamine lotion at the sites. You should use a medicated sunscreen.
Consult a skin specialist for your complaints and discuss whether a demyleininzing agent would help in your case. You could also discuss about dermabrasion or laser therapy in your case with your doctor.
