chest pain with normal angiogram

by ManyPak, Oct 26, 2007 11:12PM
I am a 43 year old male, 185lb 6'2". Have had pacs since 1994. However last two years they have increased. I was jogging regularly 4 miles a day, but have now stopped because of frequent pacs (although I still go once in a while and can do 1.5 miles in 14 minutes, but with chest discomfort). Now I have central chest pain/tightness upon light exertion, along with the pacs. My chest area rarely feels normal. Sometimes I wake up with central chest tightness.

I had a stress echo in October of 2005 that was normal but showed 2 mm st segment depression. March of 07 had a cardiolite that was normal but with 1mm ST segment depression and EF of 59%. Two weeks ago I had an Angiogram that was normal with EF of 69%.

I am wondering if there are any other tests worth doing at this point, or repeat of Holter or stress test? Microvascular disease, cardiomyopathy, or mostly bad nerves? I really don't feel any anxiety, other than this chest discomfort......
