Possible Asthma

by Chris_31_06, Oct 27, 2007 12:42PM
Our son has currently been diagnosed with asthma.  He is currently 17 months.  We are uncertain that this is true.  His symptoms are common with asthma but does not have trouble while playing or laughing.  His cough is worse at night than any other time.  We have been giving him a nubalizer on a daily basis and he has had many steriod anti-biotics.  His cough is with mucus but sometimes goes away.  To my understanding asthma doesn't go away.  This cough and weezing only occurs when he seems to get sick.  Friends of mine said to see about lung infection caused by not properly cleaning his lungs after c-section.  His doctors seem like they are just wanting to prove each other wrong on the diagnosis.  We are in absolute need of an accurate answer.  Please if you have any answers we would love to hear from you.  Thank you very much
