I've been diagnosed with gastroporesis and gastritis. I've vomited for years and was wondering if that is part of the cause? Also the Dr. said my food was staying in my stomach which is causing my bloating and discomfort. I am now on regalen 25mg. with my meals, which is usually 2 x a day. Will that help and how long should i use this?

Gastroparesis means your stomach empties too slowly, and if it's REALLY slow, yes, you will vomit. Reglan is a good choice to start with because it gently speeds up the emptying action of your stomach, and also the rest of your intestines. You may have to take it for years unless it doesn't work or something more effective comes along. I'm not aware of anything bad regarding reglan, but you may want to do a Google search on it or ask your pharmacist about any adverse effects. Hopefully the reglan is all you'll need to feel better. :-)
