Hep C treatment

by Scooter28, Oct 27, 2007 04:51PM
I was diagnosed with Primary Progrissive MS 3 years ago at the Barrows Inst. in Phx. AZ. prior to that I was diagnosed with fybro from a nuro. and rummy doc. and R arthrtis all I am sure of is haveing a lot of pain all of the time. I have gone to a pain specialest and had the injections and that did not last. I am trying again because the pain in my arms and hands are really bad. I was treated for Hep C 8 to 10 years ago. My question is can the interferon treatment I was on cause any of these problems? Every since I have been off the treatment I seem to be falling apart. I also had to have surgery on my neck because of stenois I guess it was falling a part. I have 2 lesions on my spine and as I understand I have many lesions on each side of my brain and in the center. I am also a Vietnam Vet. and they agreeded that the hep. C was while in Vietnam but everything else is MS

from susan,
i have found that by taking milk thisle which can be purchaced at any walgreens cvs any pharmacy that it is great for the liver and helping with the depression of the hep C. I have some people in Nepal that deal strictly with roots and herbs that the pharmasutical companies would love to get there hand on but they just so happen to be monks and do things under spiritual principals only. Met them about 3 years ago. They brought the CURE for Hep C here I tried it, and it worked i suffered for years. If your interested let me know ***@****

I take milk thistle twice daily and have been taking it for 7 to 10 years now every since I came off the Hep C treatment and my blood work always comes back good. I still show that I am a carrier of Hep C but viral count vary vary vary low. I have heard of alot of people with Hep C that put thier Hep C in remmision with the milk thistle. I can not remember how much they had to take. Good stuff.
