Frequent Urination, painful, end of period?

by amc_87, Oct 28, 2007 09:20AM
I'm 19 years old, 20 in December, & married. I woke this morning with an extreme urge to urinate. I went to the bathroom and did a rather large early morning urination, which I didn't see anything abnormal about it. However, after finishing, I still felt like I needed to urinate, but I couldn't. I went back to bed, but ever since, I've had the urge to urinate. I keep feeling like I have to go to the bathroom. When I go, I'm able to urinate only in small amounts, and towards the last moments of the urination, it's painful. & I'm still feeling like I have to go to the bathroom, each time with the same scenario occurring. I am on the sixth day of my period also. I usually go about 7 days even. But on the sixth & seventh days, I hardly bleed at all. Just a bit here and there. When I've been urinating this morning, there is some blood, but I can't tell if it's coming from the urethra (i hope I got that right) or if its just a normal part of my period...
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
