Lung Cancer

by odessay, Oct 28, 2007 01:50PM
my father has a lung cancer, extended stage. he had his second dose few days ago. he didn't have the most common side effect, as he didn't have the vomiting and nuasea. however, he keeps complaining about his stomach pain which he says its not related to what he had in the first dose. my question is, is it possible to be a side effect for the cisplatine? or is it possible to be something more seriouse?

Yes, nausea, stomach ache, and vomiting are all common with chemotherapy.  Ask your doctor if you're not sure.
