recently diagnosed hypothyroid

by theog1212, Oct 28, 2007 08:33PM
I had a bad panic attack on april 18th of 2007 and havent been the same since.  I was put on paxil for depression and anxiety, xanax for anxiety and levothyroxine for my hypothyroidism.  I have been to the emergency room two more times since the first and the outpatient clinic ten times since may.
The doctor says my thyroid is now within normal range but I feel like total **** most of the day.  Muscle cramps, spasms, chest pains, random pains, ears ringing and other symptoms.  My life is hell.  Yet when I go back to the doctor they want me to think its all in my head because the first ER doctor said it was panic/anxiety.  I don't know what to do.  I want to see and endocrinologist.  I asked the last time I went to the outpatient clinic but they said that I don't need to see one.  They are wrong.  I feel so, so bad.  I don't remember what it was like to feel well.  I have no insurance and i'm sure that played a part in the decision.  I dunno what to do.  I think I have an auto Immune disorder or somekind of somethings off in my body.   Hormonal or mineral.
