Can I breastfeed again?

I have a daughter who is 3 1/2 months old. I breastfed for the 1st 4 weeks, but stopped because I was not producing enough milk & having to supplement with formula. I have been feeling terrible about stopping & was wondering if there are any medications that will make me lactate again so that I can start over. I feel like breast milk is the best thing for her & I wish I never gave up....Is there any way to start over???

Talk to your doctor. If you were to start pumping every two hours, you might be able to bring it on, and there are some medications they sometimes prescribe for moms of preemies to help in the process.
