My daughter is 3 1/2 months old. Recently we have  noticed blue in the white part of her eyes. I'm very nervous because i dont know what it is and if its serious.

The sclera is the white part of the eye. In a very young infant it is thinner and more translucent than the older child or adult. Under the white part is a blue layer with veins (choroid), so usually what you are seeing is that blue layer. As the child gets older the sclera becomes thicker and the blue color goes away. As your pediatrician to check it next visit.
