nodule

by Mike67, Oct 29, 2007 04:43PM
After a CT scan it was discovered that I had a 3 mm well circonscribed nodule in the left latero-basal segment without calcification 4 mm from the pleura. I am 40 yers old and have been smoking 25 cigarettes per day for the pasty 23 years. I am worried that this nodule will grow and be cancerous. what are the pecentage chances of that.

You've smoked a lot and that increases your risks for lung cancer a lot.  You have to ask your doctor about the risks, they have to take into consideration not only the CT appearance but all of you.
