When dealing with Alzheimers people, you must have patience. Getting "mad" to get them to do something is not gunna work, at least in the long run. Manipulation and "lying" often come in handy when dealing with this. once you figure out (or if you know) the significant things in a persons life you can start a conversation with them using these things. Agreeing often comes in handy. Its like working with a toddler in a way. In one of the first confrences i attended they told us that when you get this disease you lose everything you learned in life "backwards" you may go from walking and talking to crawling and chanting. (with everything in between) Its very tough and the most you can do for someone is be patient and love them. Prayer is powerful as well to help give them the best quality of life they can have.=)
