6 weeks and nothing ?normal

i found out i was pegnant on oct25th i had a tubal reversal about 2 1/2 years ago so i am high risk for ectopic they did vag u/s nov 2 my hcg was 1521 they did'nt see anything my lmp was sept 23rd and was 4 days late could i have ovulated late, could it be to early or do i have a tubal pregnancy.

Hello,

To manage this conservatively, you should have a repeat hCG in 48hrs and a repeat u/s at that time.  No definitive actions should be taken until there is strong evidence that this is an abnormal pregnancy (either by an abnormally rising hCG, sonographic evidence of an ectopic, or obtaining tissue from the uterus that reveals no pregnancy tissue.).  Based on what you have written it doesn't sound like your evaluation is complete.

Do you have cramps and bleeding?? If no, you do not have to be so nervous, I think.  
I had miscarrige in May. I had bleeding like a period, light cramps and back pains.
I went to ER. The doctor suspected I had an ectopic pregnancy, but also it could be normal or miscarriage, He checked my HCG.level every day and did ultra sound. My HCG rose more than 5000 but could not see any in five days. Dr. told me that according to HCG level, it looked normal, but he was not sure. I was discharged but after a few days, I had  a lot of bleeding, My HCG level went down. It was a chemical abortion. It is not easy to distinguish these three from each other.
I am not sure the exact number of the HCG level, but for ectopic pregnancy, its rise was less than half normal pregnancy. If miscarriage, it would decrease.
If your doctor suspect, he will closely watch your HCG level and use ultrasound to find a sac, I think,
Since you are in the middle of the 5th week,it may be a bit early to find a sac. It is no easy, but you need to wait.In some cases, a sac is found during the sixth week.
But if you have sharp cramps and huge amounts of bleeding, you should see Dr. immediately.

I am sorry to say, you just have to wait and see... HCG levels sometime tell you something, or give a false sense of security and than all hell breaks lose.. The u/s is the only way to be sure.. My levels were over 10,000 and kept going up at 10 wks.. But the baby stopped at 7.5wks, I was sure everything was fine.. and than the ball dropped.. so relax, take it easy, if you spot call the docs.. Otherwise just wait and see... Congrats, too...

thank you all for your answers i went to the doc today and started spotting he said it was a bad pregnancy and that i should take methotrexate shot just in case in was a tubal pregnancy to protect myself and come back next week for hsg to make sure my tubes were not blocked or any remaining tissue was there i guess i will try again soon but this was heartbreaking i tried for almost 3 years

I found out after being so tired that I was pregnant on Sat.  Sunday morning I woke up with a slight backache and brown spotting.  It continued through Monday and I had a sonogram with my Doc.  He said I had a very small sac and sent me for blood work.  My Hcg levels are at 2200 and he is sending me back again today for more blood work.  My spotting stopped early yesterday morning and my back pain let off a little.  Am I just to early or do you think I'm again going to mc?  It will be my third.  I had one in Oct.99, Nov 05.

I am in a similar situation.
i think i am in the middle of 5th week.
sometimes brown or red discharge, backachs and cramps.
so far, my HCG level looks normal.
I am now  bed rest, and my doctor gave me progesterone.
This is my third pregnancy. I had two miscarrisges.
i think we just need to wait.
i know some are going to miscarriage, but others not in the similar condition.

I haven't spotted brown since Monday night and my back started hurting again this afternoon.  I went again this afternoon for more blood work my first hcg reading was 2650.  The doc thinks thats to high because we didn't see but a small sac on the sono.  So now I can just wait until tomorrow.  I also asked him to order a progesterone test.  When do you go back to the doc.aronka?

i saw my dr last friday. it was still too early. he did not use u/s.(4W5d)
yesterday, i had blood tesr and my hcg level looks normal pregnancy.
so, he told me that i did not have to see him immediately. I will see him on friday.(i think 5W5D)
i agree wqith him. anyway, he cannot do anything now.
Hope he can find at least a sac on friday.  

i think you know that every miscarriageare is different and every normal pregnancy is different.
doctors cannot do so much for early miscarriage.
it is difficult, but i am trying to relax and to accept any results.

As far as your sac grow, it should be ok.

My doc office called this morning.  I stayed home because I was up all night with a horrible backache.  I also spotted a rusty brown color.  Anyway my levels monday were 2650 and wed were over 6000 so i go in at 300 today for another sono.  Has this ever happened to anyone and it turned out ok?

i have also sometimes backaches, cramps, and small light red discharge.
In other forums, i saw some people in a similar condition turn out ok.
i still believe my baby and am trying  to relax. this is all i can do now.

We saw a bigger sac and what looked to be the beginning of a yok sac.  I measured right at 5 weeks so I guess it's normal not to see anything.  We won't be repeating the blood test and all they want me to do is wait until the 21st of Nov.  I'm so nervous but feel better that the sac grew in just two days.

i could see a sac and fetus, but not heartbeat. it is the 6th week, i thought it is 5w 5d according to my cycle.  
i am a bit worried because i could not see
