Hydroseal on sons testical

Can you tell me what is involved in the operation of removing a hydroseal, my son has had this now for two years? He is going in next week for this, I am very nervous! He is only 2 so I know he wont really know what is happening. But still I would like to know whats involved, thank you so much.
