Yeast infection while pregnant

Hey guys,

I was diagnosed with a sinus infection a few days back and they gave me amoxicillin. This almost always gives me a yeast infection. Are over the counter products like monistat ok to take while pregnant if this does happen to me? I am 30 weeks today.

I have been eating yogurt like crazy!! lol:)

They should be.  I was given a prescription for them when I was pregnant.  If you want to double check ask your doctor. According to the list online from my doctor it is ok to use Gyne-Lotrimin and Monistat for yeast during pregnancy.

u can double check with your dr yes, but my dr usually prescribes a pill to take for yeast infection incase i get one after an antiboitic. So i did get one and took the pill. And it didn't work, so i called back and asked doc if i could take the OTC 7-day treatment, and he said yes.. And i did and it worked!! Cleared it right up!
