Vitamins

I have type II and also hepatitis C with cirrhosis. Can someone recommend a multi-vitamin that would be beneficial to my diabetes without damaging my liver?

Hi,
I am not aware of any strong medical data to support taking a vitamin to help diabetes, assuming that you have a regular diverse diet and digest food normally(i.e do not have cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreas probems, are post-gastric bypass etc). Fish oils/omega-3 fatty aids are thought to be good for the cholesterol problems associated with diabetes, but check with your doctor prior to starting them.
Take care.
