Bilateral Paresthesias- PLEASE HELP

by peabody1794, Nov 07, 2007 08:44PM
I have tingling in my entire body. It started one night when I went to bed and was gone in the morning. Three days later it came back and didnt go away until later the next day. I went to my school doctor and they just tested me for diabetes and it was negative. I went to the E.R. the next day and they told me that I should see a neurologist because they only handle "emergencies". The neurologist tested the right side of my body by shocking it and sticking a needle in it. He said I may have carpal tunnel (probably from working out, b/c my wrist would hurt every now and then and I never did anything).
He wanted me to go get an MRI but I felt better the next day so i didnt go and thought I would get better.  The tingling only got worse and now it just fluctuates. It starts to go away later in the day but when I lay down to go to bed it comes back. Recently it got to where cold metal things felt like they were burning, only on my arms. I was told it may be a B vitamin deficiency so I have started taking supplements and its gotten a little bit better but not by much.
I dont have time to go to any more doctors and I have been searching online for the answers. Im going out of my mind if someone could please help me find an answer.
