ovarian cyst concern

by concerned777, Nov 08, 2007 07:32PM
six months ago I had lower abdominal pain and was diagnosed with functional ovarian cyst. I was told to wait a a couple cycles and have another ultrasound.  This time they found another which was receding. I still feel consistent pain on my left side of my lower abdomen. I am supposed to wait another two cycles but I am really concerned that this is becoming a pattern. What is the cause if these cysts? I work for a company where we are mildly exposed to solvent gases in the air and read that solvent exposure is linked to this. Is it normal have this many right after each other. Are there any long term consequences to my reproductive health? I know I can go on the pill but I  have no need to it otherwise and want them to go away naturally. Do you know of any alternative treatments?
