please help with suggestions

Until about a year ago I was a healthy  27 year old female.
At first I thought I had a mono because I was so tired all the time. My Primary physican ruled that out. I have been throught lots of test-nothing has come up.With-in this year of weird things happening... I have had many symtoms sometimes severe, some times not but have gotten worse over the last 3 months  I have had episodes where I went to the ER due to my legs, arms and head were twitching.  The Nurse Practicioner at the school that I work at called the Ambulance. She could barely keep me on the bed at the nurses station . I also have had slurred speech, fatigue, weight gain, hard time walking at times, and eye twitching. My friends and family notice personailty changes when I'm having bad days. im sure I miss symtoms
I'm see neuroligist at OSU..they are stumped
EEG-normal to an extent- not eplipitic but I do seizures like spells???
EMG-normal,MRI-Normal CAT-on chest some what abnormal- gland had a growth which is normal for my age?? Thyroid-Normal Babinski - normal blood pressure - high normal up to a 7-8 months ago clonus - more pronounced in one l side of body than the other hypersensitive reflexes, forgetfulness, hard time talking, hard time with decision making.... I need help, what other test can be done? Could it be medication? i want to be myself again

Go to lymenet dot org for lots of lyme info.  Not saying you have it but lyme symptoms can remain dormant for years and then surface.  Less than half of people ever see a rash or tick bite.  It does cause a bullseye rash on many people around the bite area.

I hope I can find this out to help others. I also had an ER doctor wanting to know what I find out to help him learn too. I just want to be normal again. Take care and good luck! Let me know if you find something too.

The typeof seizures are- Non-epileptic seizures are paroxysmal events that mimic an epileptic seizure but do not involve abnormal, rhythmic discharges of cortical neurons.[1] They are caused by either physiological or psychological conditions. The doctors are now testing for lupus and other autoimmune stuff. I'm also going off meds to check if that is a problem. The thymus was enlarged  for my age-I can remember what else the report said. usually the thymus shrinks over time after puberty. I find a couple of Doctors who are looking into more things. Thanks for all the help. I brought some of the suggestions to my doctors and they thought it was a good idea to go off meds. to rule that out!

Yes, the gland on my chest that was checked is the thymus.I just had it checked again b/c it been a year. I had a rash about a year ago in August before this started. I had our school nurse practicioner check it out. She thought it was an allergy. It was 1 inch hives on my back and stomach. I had swollen lips w/ this rash.I didn't think it was the same type of rash with lyme disease. I could be wrong! Do you get a rash around the area the tick was attached? I haven't had a tick bite in years.  How do I find more information? I looked up lyme disease before. Thanks for all the help and I hope things are going well

we share similar symptoms. I feel a lot like you do and my doctors are stumped also. If they ever find out what’s going on with me I will let you know.

Meds combinations can cause weird effects in people.  Did they diagnose you officially with seizures?  I, like Heather, am wondering what the gland in your chest was that was enlarged?  Does your report state it?  Did you ever have a weird rash or bullseye appearance somewhere on your body?  Have they done any cultures or infectious testing on you?  What state do you live in?  I hope you get feeling better.  Perhaps with more information someone else can help you more.  Hang in there.  I hope this gets resolved for you soon....

I have or have had many of your symptoms with all normal testing.  I don't have the seizure type episodes or personality changes though.  Mostly I have twitching from head to toe, hyperactive reflexes, walking problems etc...numbness, tingling, nerve, muscle pain.  I am being treated for lyme though I have negative lyme tests.  I had the rash though.  I have gotten better since taking antibiotics.  A negative test does not mean you don't have it.  I live in OH too.  Doctors do not take it seriously in our state.  Not saying you have it but like me, when i read about people have all these symptoms with no abnormalities on testing I wonder about lyme.  Just a suggestion.  Was the gland in your chest the thymus?
