Stomach Flu

by jd743, Nov 13, 2007 10:50AM
My girlfriend came down with a vicious bout of stomach flu Saturday around 1pm.  I was with her the night before and left her place shortly before she became violently ill after getting her 7up and sherbet.  She was fine Friday night, but when she woke up saturday she was complaining about sharp cramps in her abdomen coming in waves.  I felt her head and it was a little warm but she wasn't nauseos and was able to eat breakfast.
After I got home, I washed my clothes, showered down, and made sure I washed everything before I ate any lunch.  That was around 2-3pm Saturday.  It is now 11 am on Tuesday, and I am wondering whether I am in the clear from catching this nasty bug.  I haven't had any direct contact with her since the incident (we live far apart) and I figure that since I was in close contact to her I would have gotten it by now.  I do not want to catch this nasty stomach virus if possible, and wondered if I can count myself lucky yet.
