Turp

In august this year after 8 weeks of wearing a catheter ,(being unable to urinate) I had a traditional TURP operation, that went well, out of hospital in 3 days.....and until recently there has been no problems at all, to all intents and purposes -cured .
I regularly take a pain killers for damaged vertebrae in my back which causes constipation, this causes me to strain a little and makes me pee in short bursts involuntarily. the problem of late has been my inability to sometimes activate urination just like I did before. It's almost like being unable to tell the difference between the  sensations of the two functions.
Needless to say I am al ittle concerned that the prostate is furring up again.....(.My stream is reasonable.when I do get going)
Anyone any ideas or similar experiences.
