about one year behind normal

We are immigrants here with no family support

Born 10 days after due date
Walked at 16 months
Has been very consious of her surroundings since she was crawling. Very sensitive to the kind of floor/surface
Knew her ABCs and counting when she was 17 months.
Potty trained within a week of starting at the age of 17 months
Spoke a lot of words at 18 months
Even today at 3 and a half years, she can say almost any word in the dictionery.

Was always afraid of walking by herself. Could not walk up on down a slope wihtout holding hands.

We bought and moved to a new house when she was 2. We were not really concerned about anything until then

developed fear of the strangers when she was 2 and a half. Used to freak out seeing any stranger. mostly with men and more so with big men.
She went to her grandparents for 2 months and when he came back, she did not have stranger anxiety.

Now at 3 and a half, she is not developing as well as a normal child. She can run but her legs are still 'springy' and 'bouncy'
her steps are not that solid and controlled. she just started jumping on 2 legs a month ago. now she can jump about 1 foot.
She is still afraid of walking up or down the stairs. She needs SOME support, even if I hold her hand very gently without really provising any support, she is fine.
sometimes she goes up the stairs by herself but her balance seems to be bad.

We bought an outdoor trampoline for her. At first she was scared, then she started using it with one of us holding hands, now she can do it for 30 minutes by herself.
We took her to one of those inflated rides place. she did not go on any of the  rides alone, but 6 months later, she goes on most of the rides.

Socially she is doing okay, she just doesn't want to play with most kids of her age. she likes either very small or older kids

Right now the main thing we are concerned about is her physical development as regards to running, climbing, turning quickly, balance etc.
She also does not participate in most (not all) classroom activities unless asked repeatedly. She loves art, painting etc though.

We are taking her to her doctor tomorrow after her teacher noticed the same things in her class.

Any help will be appreciated as to what could be causing this.

Thanks
