by danieldude, Nov 16, 2007 11:47AM
i am 17 years old. recently i just noticed my ball sack is very dry and scaly, and it is very red. my **** seems fine, but from the base to the balls it is red, dry, and seems like its burning, and when i touch it feels warmer than usual.

what could be the problem?

It could be a few things, an STD if you've had unprotected sex or an infection or ezcema.  Go to the doctors and have it checked out.  If it's something that can be cleared up with a quick visit it's worth it.

If you have to tell a parent there is no shame in it, and they don't have to be in the exam room with you.
Go get it looked at.

i was thinking of certain things that could have caused this. because it seems so random; it just started yesterday. i havent had unprotected sex, or sex at all recently...

the only thing i could think of is using stuff like clear skin acne gel or styling hair as lubricants to jerk off; i obviously did not have any lubricant.

could this have caused it?  i really hope it goes away soon; i have read some posts where guys mention they have had it for years now

Oh dear yes that could have irriated it!  buy some vasilene!!!  Don't ever use gel or hair products or acne gel for that!!! There are CHEMICALS in those.  The skin there is very thin (think of your eyelids!)

Go out and buy some vaseline - and dude never use that stuff again, and when you do buy the vasilene put some on and let it soak in, the chemicals have most definately dried out the skin completely hence the flaky redness.  Lordy, lesson learned I hope!
