Ovian Cysts

Hi All - I used to be a regular on this forum and have posted this question in the women's health forum, but it doesn't seem to be too active over there.  I am still battling with these cysts and have not gone back since last February as the doc made me feel like an idiot.

i realize that it's not cancer related (that I know of yet) and I apologize to anyone I may offfend by being here.  Please know I realize my issues are no where near as serious compared to yours.  Just thought I'd check in for some support/advice.

Little history:  I've had issues with ovarian cysts for quite some time (actually had some severe problems just a year ago).  Well, I'm just about to head out to the ER again and was looking for some support/advice.  The pain and bloating on both sides is getting pretty bad and it is extremely tender to touch on either side.  As some of you may remember, last year I went through the entire oncologist thing and just found to have adenomyosis, fibroids, and cysts.  That was the last time I was checked out and the cysts have come and gone with little pain until now.

I think one is/was leaking yesterday for obvious reasons, but I just can't stand this pain much longer.  I hate the idea of waiting in the ER and, of course, it's Friday so no docs around.

Any advice would be wonderful.  Thanks so much. My thoughts are with all, especially Kimberly today!

Hey ...you need not feel bad about being here....pain is pain and it is never a good sign.  If you hurt enough to head to the ER then it must be pretty bad so get going.  Let us know what's up when you return.
Peace.

If you are in pain - you have to follow your gut! No one knows your body better than you...

It could be a ruptured cyst or twisting of your ovary. Both of which need medical attention. Take care of yourself and keep us posted!

Thanks so much for your support.  Yes, the pain on my right side is quite bad - when I take a deep breath it hurts - wierd huh?  Now I would maybe think this is due to my progressing lower back problems (progressing right side scoliosis, bulging and herniated discs from L6 down to S1, and a protruded disc), BUT (whew!) it is so apparent and exact where the pain is to the touch on both sides, but the right is much worse.  I think I'm going to wait it out until about 6:00 am when the ER hopefully won't be so crowded.  I'll go to the same one and place another bet with the doctor on what he/she thinks it is b/c they never think a cyst could cause this much pain.  Better get ready to be ticked off!

Just started to notice the bloating again last weekend and then the pain progressed throughout the week.  Gotta check it I guess.  Thanks again and my best to you.......
