I am a 44 years old male doing triathlons(swim, bike&run). I have being doing this for one(1) year now.
I train intensively, five (5) days a week and to this date, everything is all right. In a routine examination (two(2) months ago) my cardiologist(for over 10 years) discovered in a echocardiogram that my heart is enlarged(Xray also reveled that...CTR of 17/33.7cm) and also have Mitral Valve Regurgitation(MVR)(mild). My laboratories(blood& lipids) results are perfect(no flags)!!! I don't smoke, do moderate drinking and eat well.......No chest pain, no short breath, probably pre-hypertensive(non medicated)(125/68 or 136/73) Pulse 52 to 62 is normal. After training my blood preassure is (110/62 or 115/65) No family history of heart  conditions or sudden death. My father (71) also has MVR and is doing good. My mother(68) is fine!!!

Am I at any risk of a heart failure during my competitions or training????? Do I have to change anything from my lifestyle??? I have never felt so fit and athletic in my whole life!!!
I am running 5K's in 24 minutes and 10K's in 51 minutes. During this year I competed in 18 races including 5 triathlons.

I would appreciate your answer.
