hello my i ask a question; im a colleges student; a want to know what is the inportant of protien in our body

Proteins are the building blocks of our bodies. Amino acids (protein in it's simplest form) are the substances that make up all the cells and DNA in our body. Cells die everyday and our body replaces cells using protein. Protein is also used for energy if the body does not have enough intake of carbohydrates. If we eat too much protein and our body cannot use it, then it is converted to fat and stored. Hope this helped you.
