Was i already pregnant?

by londongirl33, Nov 23, 2007 09:57PM
I cheated on my boyfriend that i am now truly in love with.  When i cheated on him i wasn't sure we was going to be together becasue i was having some issues with myself and i was blaming him.  So when i went home i saw my ex becasue we were still freinds and i got drunk and had sex with him unprotected and then i found out i was pregnant.  I don't remember when my last period was becasue my periords were irregular.  When i got my first ultrasound on may 30 i was 8wks6d, second ultrasound july26 i was 17wks and third ultrasound nov 16 i was 32wks5d.  I wanted to know was i already pregnant when i had sex on the 20?  According to my calculations i was a bout a week pregnant on the 20th.  From my first ultrasound my due date was jan 4 and it has not changed yet.  Just need advice please.

I would say you concieved around the 17th - 19th of April. Your pregnacy starts with the first day of your last period. (providing you have regular cycles) You last u/s was off a bit according to the other two (by about 4 days) which im not sure if thats common or not.
My question is, does your boyfirend that you are so in love with know there is a possibilty of a different father? Might be something to tell him. I watched a Show last night where the woman didnt find out until she was on public teleivsion and the "daddy" who wasnt really the daddy founf out as well when the child was already 2 years old and another one was on the way. Definitly something you may want to bring to the table now.

I agree with the above poster, need to talk it over with him, better to get it out now than later.  I didn't look at a claendar, but they do date your pregnancy based on your last period.  You usually ovulate in the middle of the cycle, so if you go back and look, you are 2 weeks pregnant when you conceive and 4 weeks when you are late, even though you conceived 2 weeks back, so it you think you were 1 week along, you may have been 1 week away from conceiving.  Hard to say though since you are irregular.  Some gals ovulate early, some right on, some late, so you almost need to have a dna test or talk to the Dr. and see if they can help you narrow down the window of conception.  My Dr. flat out told me each time based on the u/s and dates when I would have conceived, it's approximate, but the last one I only had sex once that month after my m/c so the date she gave me was actually the only date I did have sex, she was right on.  I'm very regular though when on the pill and had just gone off.  Good luck, I would talk to the father.

The earlier sonogram is the most accurate. Like Critter said, they consider you 2 weeks PG when you conceive.
