Black Spot on Tooth

I went to the dentist about a month ago but this past week I have noticed a black spot on the gum line of one of my lower teeth. On the exact same tooth on the other side, I have noticed a hole in the gumline with the lower part of the tooth (below the gumline) being exposed. I am concerned. Can this wait to be seen or is it imperitive to do it immediately?

The dentist never said a word and I have never noticed this. It seems to just have happened.

I had a huge fight with BB and she left and I blacked out. when I came to princess was crying and taking care of me! Poor baby! She was so scared! I think I just got so stressed out I blew a gasket! when I came to I was very calm. I don't remember being out. I used to have them all the time. Haven't had one in about 3 or 4 yrs. So it had to be the fight with BB. I don't know what to do with that kid any more! She has been a nightmare since she turned 14. She is now 21 soon to be 22.
