Loss of movement in legs

by uridar, Nov 28, 2007 12:58PM
My mum lost movement in her legs 4 weeks ago, and the hospital cannot diagnose the problem, they have ruled out Tumor, TB, Stroke and are now on Devics disease but this is not confirmed. They say she will probably not walk again.
They say she has an inflammed spine and myelin sheath problems of lower back. they have kept her bed ridden for the last 1.5 months. She can now sit up without support but cannot move her legs and is incontinent.
Can anyone suggest what it could be and how we can help her please.
