So incredibly sad!!

So I do foster care I take kids in emergency situations till they can get a long term place. Last night I took in two siblings 3 yr old girl couldn't speak at all, 14 month old boy.Reason they were removed:
their 4 month old baby brother is in the hospital with 2 broken legs,his eyes are bulging out of his face,though he's alive he is not responsive they are pretty sure it's shaken baby syndrome. What that baby must  have gone through!?I know I sound selfish and bratty but sometimes I wonder I would never do anything to hurt anyone especially not a child , why can't I have a baby?

It sucks and is so not fair to us or the babies.... when people say leave it in Gods hands I really have to think that God has little to do with this... he does not choose people who will kill thier kids over good people to have babies... that is not gods doing... bless you for being an angel for those kids... and I pray you will get your own angel very soon

The worst is that after delivery that baby, the mother kill the baby and dump the body in the trash.  

Everyday something horrible happen to baby while we are here trying to conceive.  how sad.

that is beyond horrible...god bless you for having such a wonderful heart and being there for all these kids while they transition to another home... i cant predict the future but one thing is obvious...god is using you for such an important role right now in all these kids lives....keep the faith...and god will bless you!!!!!!

You do not sound selfish or bratty with your feelings!
I am in education and see this type of stuff all of the time. I just recently heard the most horrible sexual abuse story of my life...and I thought I had heard them all!!  It involved both parents.  These kids are so angry and violent.  The youngest one is constantly trying to harm herself.  I just want to take those parents and...and...and....I cannot even think of a punishment bad enough for them!

Thank you for opening your home to foster children.  You must be a very special person with an enormous heart.

Thanks girls, I know I'm doing a good thing,sometimes It just gets so emotionally draining to see these acts commited against helpless kids,especially when you know u would be such a good mother, and what comes so easy to these crazy people is the one thing you can't do.Make a baby .is it to much to ask?

Selfish?   Boy, anyone who takes in emergency foster kids is certainly not selfish, but the antithesis of selfish.   You must be such a blessing and place of security and comfort to the many that enter your door.  I'm sure you'll never know the depth of how your actions have influenced children during a time when they are feeling so lost.

as they say all good things come to those who wait.those kids must need your love and understanding.And remember god is watching, all the good that you do, he will reward you just dont ever lose hope.I have 2 beautiful daughters now.After a long hard struggle, and you know it was worth that horrible long sad miserable journey.After many many many years of trying.iui,gift,ivf three times  but about 16 fet replacments it happened and you know what id do it all again to get what i have.So good luck to you all .

I understand your frustration. My DH and talk all the time about people who dont want/need babies getting pregnant like it is going out of style. Crackheads, people that beat their children. You never see them at the fertility clinic. They just have sex and BAM preggo. Life is not fair - Sorry, I will get off of my soapbox now!!

I understand how you feel. I know quite a few people around here with children that they don't want and some do horrible things to those children. I take these children out and play with them so that they can have some good in their lives, but I keep feeling so bad because I'm having such a hard time ttc as well. I think that what you are doing is a blessing to those children, and you know what, you might not know how big of an impact you really do have on those kids. Two of the teenagers that I used to hang around with because their parents parents used to beat them ( they were twins) just recently left home for the first time on their way to college. I received a letter from the two of them stating that if it hadn't been for me showing up several times a week that they might not be here, and because they knew that school was so important to me, they went on to college. Because of your love for these children that enter your home, you have touched the lives of them, and I know that someday, even if it's just a hug that is so warm, they will thank you. I know that you've been a blessing to them, and you're such a good romodels to other adults out there. May your days be warm and loving.
